Lyle Shelton Still Disagrees W/ Cops, Calls Van Explosion “Suicide Bombing”

Despite the official report from ACT police stating the gas-cylinder explosion that damaged the Australian Christian Lobby offices in Canberra last week as “not religiously, politically, or ideologically motivated”, Managing Director Lyle Shelton is still pushing on with his increasingly batshit statements now calling the incident an “attempted suicide bombing”.

Whilst old mate Shelty has previously linked the explosion, in which a van carrying gas cylinders was detonated late at night in the ACL headquarters carpark, to “extreme left” parliamentarians, he has since doubled down in his refusal to accept the official reports.
In a new interview with The Australian newspaper, Shelton states:

“This is a very, very serious incident … What occurred at our building was not a car fire, it was a car-bomb. I sincerely hope the police are right in their assessment but it defies logic as to how you can unequivocally come to that conclusion within hours of such a cataclysmic event.”

Funny how when something doesn’t fit your particularly hate-filled, inflammatory narrative, things all begin to start “defying logic”, hey?
The 35-year old Australian citizen who is allegedly responsible for the incident is in a stable condition at Concord Hospital and was interviewed by police prior to the release of the official statement eliminating any ideological motivation.
Maybe let the people who are trained to figure this stuff out do their jobs Shelts, and go back to tweeting about virgin babies or whatever.
