Sydney’s Taronga Zoo has welcomed a new baby gorilla!
It was born late last week, and is happy, healthy, and so cute you just wanna cuddle it forever.
Mother gorilla Frala is keeping real tight grips on the little one, so the keepers won’t name the baby until they can identify the which sex it is (but we suggest Pez/Peza Cuteyface).
“The baby is strong, healthy, [has] good colouration, [is] gripping on really tight, and we’ve seen a lot of suckling, which is a really good sign,” said Primate keeper Lisa Ridley.“Both of them are bonding well. As a good mum, she’s keeping the baby close to her stomach, so it makes it very hard for us keepers.”
The new addition will be an adorable playmate for Mjukuu, who was born seven months ago.
