Lindsay Lohan is probably wishing for 2014 to be over right now. The actress/hoarder/source of continual media fodder recently contracted a very nasty, serious virus on her trip to French Polynesia.

Chikungunya virus, which Lohan apparently contracted from a mosquito bite, is characterised by joint pain, rashes and fatigue, and can last months. She also managed to contract it on what is usually one of the slowest news days of the year, so points for that one.
