Girlfriend of the recently deceased Glee star Cory Monteith, fellow Glee cast member Lea Michele has broken her steady, public silence since Monteith tragically passed two weeks ago after being found dead in a Vancouver hotel room.
Tributes for the late actor, who was found to have overdosed on a lethal mix of heroin and alcohol, have run fierce since Monteith’s sudden death. Lea Michele’s silence, supported by a statement asking for respectful privacy, had remained intact until today, when she posted on twitter for the first time since July 14:

The Glee cast and crew paid tribute to Monteith in a private memorial service last week. Glee’s upcoming Season 5 has pushed its release date back to September 26 and will reportedly contain a special tribute episode dedicated to Cory Monteith.
