Las Vegas Mass Shooting Death Toll Over 20, No Further Suspects At Large

Las Vegas Police have released more information regarding the mass shooting that occurred earlier today at a country music festival outside the The Mandalay Casino on the Vegas Strip, upgrading the death toll from the previously announced two, to over 20 casualties.

A gunman opened fire on the thousands in attendance at the last night of The Route 91 Harvest festival at 11pm local time, causing widespread panic and many injuries.

Speaking in a news conference the LVPD police confirm the death toll has since risen to over 20, with 100 injured and in emergency care.

Despite rumours earlier, they have also confirmed that there is no secondary shooter, with the single gunman shot dead by police.

Police said they are also looking for information on a woman named Marilou Danley, described as a companion of the unnamed Las Vegas resident suspected to be the deceased shooter.

Several police officers are believed to be among the dead. It is unknown if they were off-duty or not.

More to come.
