This Guy Fell On His Knife Sculpture While Doing “Furniture Aerobics” ‘Coz Iso Is Boring AF

A Norwegian performance artist has landed himself in hospital after an “idiotic” accident with his *checks notes* KNIFE SCULPTURE.

Self-isolation does weird things to a person’s brain (see: Tom Nook Could Get It), but most of us try to keep ourselves away from knives when we’re having a weird moment. But Jan Hakon Erichsen isn’t most of us.

You may remember Erichsen from those viral videos on Twitter last year, in which he popped balloons using various knives taped to handmade contraptions.

As expected, it was only a matter of time before these truly insane stunts backfired and landed Erichsen in the emergency room.

Ironically, he recently put the knives away in an effort to reduce the risk of clogging up the emergency room amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. However, he forgot to put away the giant KNIFE SCULPTURE in his lounge room.

Yes. Knife sculpure.

Erichsen has been making funny “furniture aerobics” videos to pass the time, in which he balances on different items of furniture in his house. During his most recent aerobics session, he fell.

But he didn’t just fall.

Oh no.

He fell onto the knife sculpture because he’s “an idiot who leaves life threatening items standing around.”

It’s important to note that Erichsen neglected to mention why he has a knife sculpture in his house. I’m not too familiar with Norwegian law, but surely this is violating some sort of law. Right?!

The poor man needs 25 stitches and a surgery on his left hand after the ordeal left him with little movement in his little finger.

As ridiculous as it sounds, Erichsen was at least *trying* to be responsible amid the ongoing coronavirus pandemic. He was self-isolating at home and was avoiding his usual dangerous stunts.

Unfortunately, our favourite knife/furniture aerobics influencer will be out of action for a few days while he recovers from his injuries.
