Even The Iconic Kings X Coke Billboard Is Getting Behind The ‘Yes’ Campaign

The Kings Cross Coke billboard has gone through a fair few changes recently – remember that huge LED makeover? – but a recent alteration to the brand’s advertisement might just be the best yet.

As it stands, the signage for No Sugar Coke has been amended with a big ol’ pride flag obscuring the bottle. The text, which originally read “say yes to the taste you love!”, now reads “we say yes to love!” after some crafty paintwork.

Joi Dutta-Chavan, social media manager for the beverage giant, confirmed they were behind the change via Instagram.

It’s just one of many ‘Yes’-themed image updates you can expect to see in the coming weeks. Over in Melbourne, the Australian Centre for the Moving Image has re-jigged their entrance to represent the organisation’s stance on marriage equality.

With any luck, this kind of push for equality will outshine the garbage graffiti proliferated by some members of the ‘No’ camp.
