Kim K Was Reportedly Paid $2 Million For That Uber Eats Ad, Which Is A Lot Of Pad Thai

Kim Kardashian‘s fee for appearing in that Uber Eats ad with Magda Szubanski has been revealed as a whopping $2 million. Not bad for a day’s work.

It was pretty clear from the get-go that Kim would have been paid an exorbitant amount to appear in the Kath & Kim-themed ad, but the exact figure has been reported by  NW Magazine.

“A source” confirmed to the mag Kim was paid $2 million (US $1.36 million), which is frankly (and I’m not trying to be controversial here), Quite A Lot Of Money. I did the maths, and it’s enough to buy a $30 Uber Eats meal every single day for the next 181 years. Or, it could get you a nice-enough Sydney house. Nothing too fancy.

The ad – which you’ve all probably seen by now – featured Kimmy in a netball bib trying to nail Sharon Strzelecki‘s pronunciation of “noice”. To say it has been a success is an understatement; the campaign has been reported on by media outlets around the globe, and sent the internet into a bit of a tizzy.

Kim posting the ad to her 152 million Instagram followers is worth a few $$$, too.

Honestly, whoever thought this one up and then actually made it happen deserves the biggest bonus in the world. Kim in a bowl cut? Amazing. Inspired. Phenomenal.

Sadly, the pair didn’t meet face-to-face; Sharon’s busy schedule apparently didn’t allow for a face-to-face meet. Instead, they filmed separately over a few days, but like….. can you tell? Not really. (Magda herself spilled the beans on that one.)

And in case you missed the best news to come out of this campaign, Kim apparently thought netball was a joke, which proves she’s not here if we need and perhaps never was.

Magda gave us the goss last week:

“I said to her, ‘Do you know what netball is?’” Magda told PEDESTRIAN.TV.

“And she said, ‘Well, you know we have this thing here called the Met Ball, and I thought it was a joke about that.’”

Just phenomenal.
