Comedian Kevin Hart has reportedly suffered a “major back injury” after the vintage 1970 Plymouth Barracuda he was travelling in veered off Mulholland Highway and rolled down an embankment early Sunday morning.

According to a report from California Highway patrol, Hart was seated in the passenger seat as 28-year-old Jared Black drove the car through the hills of California’s Malibu Hills around 12:45 in the morning.
Both suffered injuries after the car spun out of control while another passenger, 31-year-old Rebecca Broxterman, only reported minor pain.
Shortly after the crash Hart reportedly left the scene and returned home to get medical attention.
A report from highway patrol said the driver was not under the influence of alcohol.
