Celebrating “National Alexander Downer Wearing Heels Memorial Day” (rude to poke fun at harmless, obscure political history, tbh) and also coming off the back of this week’s controversy at the Cannes Film Festival – where female attendees on the red carpet were turned away for not wearing high heels, your boy Karl Stefanovic strapped on a hideous pair himself, declaring:
“Women of Australia I’m listening to you, I’m getting what you’re putting down in these shoes and I don’t like it so what I want to do is I want to encourage the men of Australia to wear high heels to work just so we know how much women of Australia suffer to look how good they look.”
“Balance is a problem, and the back of my Achilles hurt, my lower back hurts, but God I look good,” Karl added this morning on Today.
