Justin Bieber Is Being Sued For Allegedly Using “Racial Epithets” In 2016 Brawl

Justin Bieber is being sued by an ex fan who claims that the singer used “racial epithets” during a fight that broke out in Cleveland during the 2016 NBA Finals.

The altercation allegedly kicked off when Rodney Tobias Cannon was introduced to Bieber, according to documents obtained by The Blast.

The fan experience started on a friendly note but things “drastically changed” after Cannon snapped a pic of the Biebs, who he claims “suddenly became irate” and started “aggressively threatening harm to [Cannon] if the photograph was not deleted.”

“In addition to threatening to harm” the fan, the “threatening communications made in public in front of a number of people included the use of racial epithets.”

Insiders revealed to The Blast that Justin used the “N-word” during the scuffle which was recorded and published by TMZ HERE.

Meanwhile, JB’s longtime manager and shit storm settler Scooter Braun has claimed that Cannon’s tale is “completely false and a fabrication from a man who tried to push for money for the last several years.”

“This is a smear tactic to get money and it’s gross … and we won’t be scared or blackmailed,” he says.

Another insider told PEOPLE that no racial epithets came out of Bieber’s mouth.

“This guy has been trying unsuccessfully to get money from Justin for years off of this incident. He has failed, largely because he threw the first punch and instigated the physical altercation. He has never before claimed anything about a racial slur.”

Cannon’s claim also states that he tried to walk away from the situation but Bieber grabbed his shirt and “then struck” him “with his fist…more than one time”. He then reportedly tried to “subdue” Bieber but was then “struck in the back of the head” by a security guard.

Cannon is suing for “sustained injuries to his face, head and back” as well as suffered mental and emotional injuries.
