Everyone’s Valentine’s Day posts make me a little bit nauseous, except for JoJo Siwa‘s, who celebrated her “first Valentine’s Day” with a tribute to her girlfriend, Kylie. Protect this relationship at all costs.
“No one in the world makes me as happy as this girl does,” JoJo posted on Instagram.
“I’m so thankful to have fallen in love with the most perfect person ever who makes me smile 24/7. I love you more thank you’ll ever know!”
STOP IT YOU GUYS.
JoJo, 17, confirmed her status as a member of the LGBTQIA+ community just a few weeks ago. (Not long after, she became a certified gay icon by absolutely bodying some homophobic woman in her Instagram comments, and for that, we have no choice but to stan.)
She then introduced her girlfriend to the world: a woman called Kylie, with whom she’d been besties for a year before they started dating.
“After being my best friend for over a year, January 8th 2021 I got to start calling this exceptional human my girlfriend… and Since then I’ve been the happiest I have ever been!” JoJo said.
“She seriously is the most loving, supportive, happiest, protective, and just the most beautiful perfect person in the world. And I get to call her mine! Happy one month to my girl! I love you more and more everyday!”
Kylie posted an über sweet tribute of her own.
“Fall in love with your best friend, guys. it’s THE BEST feeling in the entire world. here’s to one month with my favourite human 🙂 i love you sharky.”
Also – can we appreciate that it looks like Kylie gifted JoJo one of those insane logo jumpers you see advertised on Facebook for Valentine’s Day?
If anyone else gave their brand new partner this kind of shirt, I would roll my eyes out of my head, down the street, and into some nasty gutter, before taking bets on how many weeks of chaos we’d get before they broke up (and how messy it would be when they do).
JoJo and Kylie? They’re allowed. They’re adorable. I hope they live happily ever after and adopt 20 cats, and that their OTT Valentine’s Day posts become a yearly tradition to which we all look forward to.
