Johnny Depp Sued By Crew Member For Alleged Alcohol-Fuelled Assault On Set

Johnny Depp is being sued for allegedly attacking a crew member on the set of upcoming crime film City of Lies, a story about Biggie Smalls’ murder.

Location manager Gregg “Rocky” Brooks filed a lawsuit on Friday, July 6 that alleges that the actor physically and verbally assaulted him on set, Us Weekly confirms.

Brooks claims Depp hired two of his friends for a scene in downtown L.A. on April 13, 2017. When Brooks noticed that the scene wasn’t working, he told the director they could only have one more shot at filming it.

After telling this to Depp, Rocky became concerned about how he’d react so he went to get an LAPD officer for protection.

Before Rocky could reach the officer, he claims Depp attacked him and angrily screamed, “Who the fuck are you? You have no right to tell me what to do.”

Depp allegedly punched the location manager twice in the rib cage. When Rocky didn’t react, Depp screamed, “I will give you $100,000 to punch me in the face right now.”

As Depp continued to berate Rocky, his bodyguards removed him from the area. Rocky also claims Depp’s breath reeked of alcohol during the altercation.

The suit seeks unspecified damages.
