Mostly famous for his stellar work as a character actor and his collabs with the Coen Brothers, it looks like JK Simmons is also about to get recognition for being an unbelievably jacked unit.
Whether you know him as J. Jonah Jameson in the Tobey Maguire “Spiderman” movies, or the simple-yet-loving father in “Juno“, it is weird as hell to see him with muscles that looked like they were ripped off a genetically-enhanced super greyhound and grafted to a homeless Santa Claus.
People have been (pretty healthily) sceptical about whether or not the photo is ‘shopped, but there’s a bunch of them on his trainer’s page so I guess you just have to accept that an elderly, theatrically-trained actor could beat the crap right out of you.
It looks like he’s bulking up for his role as Commissioner Gordon in the upcoming “Justice League” film and will definitely be the most shredded Gordon committed to the silver screen.
“Whiplash” would have been a crazy different movie if instead of just being an abusive jazz teacher, he was an abusive jazz teacher would could throw you 1000ft into the air and karate chop you into the ground.
