23 Y.O. Woman Charged With Murder After Fatal Sword Attack In Forest Lodge

A 23-year-old woman has been charged with murder and a 28-year-old man is under police guard in relation to the death of 30-year-old Jett McKee, who was found dead in a Forest Lodge street last week.

Emergency services discovered McKee’s body after being called to the inner Sydney suburb around 12:40pm on Friday.

McKee was reportedly struck in the head with a samurai sword and managed to walk down Hereford Street in the moments before his death.

The Daily Telegraph reports police are investigating if McKee was injured staging a home invasion on a nearby property while wearing a balaclava and brandishing knuckledusters.

A replica handgun was also found near his body.

23-year-old Hannah Quinn and the unnamed 28-year-old male turned themselves in to Newtown Police Station last night after a three-day police manhunt.

Quinn was did not apply for bail and was listed to appear in Newtown Local Court today.

The man was admitted to hospital under police guard for treatment on a pre-existing facial injury, and is expected to face charges once he is released.

McKee was an active figure in Sydney’s hip-hop scene and performed under the moniker Scepaz. He also co-founded label Sub Conscious Records.
