Most of us are likely all aware that JK Rowling is the hero that our generation needed. She is an angel. An actual angel on Earth. We are blessed that out of the four and a half billion years that this planet been around, we managed to exist at the same time as Joanne.
She has been incredibly vocal about her own battles with mental illness and suicidal ideation, and is regularly publicly supportive and helpful to people who contact her when they are struggling themselves.
But oh man – a reply tweet she gave to a fan today got us right in the heartstrings. Right in the love muscle.
So, someone tweeted at Joanne saying,
@jk_rowling could you please teach me how to scare the dementors that have been living under my bed? i’m tired of being sad all the time

And her response:
They’re bothering a unique, valuable human being who deserves happiness. Ask for help. Don’t fight alone. Big hug. https://t.co/V8ocAHN1Ll

OH GOD. OH GOD OH GOD OH GOD. WE NEED A HUG.
WE NEED A BIG HUG.
