J.K. Rowling Attacks Rupert Murdoch for Charlie Hebdo Tweets

Over the weekend, Rupert Murdoch caused a stir when he said that, while be believes most Muslims to be “peaceful”, all “must be held responsible” until they “destroy their growing jihadist cancer.” 

Maybe most Moslems peaceful, but until they recognize and destroy their growing jihadist cancer they must be held responsible.

A number of people took issue with the Tweet, including none other than Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling, who returned serve overnight with a Tweet offering to take responsibility for Murdoch himself:

Murdoch has since offered a remembrance of Ahmed Merabet, the police officer who was gunned down in the Charlie Hebdo attack:

Extraordinary scenes in Paris today, but do not forget the heroic sacrifice of Ahmed Merabet, Muslim police officer whose funeral was today.
