BFF alert – Bono went to visit George Bush at the 43rd President’s Texas ranch over the Memorial Day weekend, so GWB posted about it on Insta.
Because GWB is like us the Taylor Swift of former Presidents of the United States – he needs everyone to know about all the fun he’s been having with his famous friends.
Bush described the singer/activist/artist otherwise known as Paul David Hewson (a fact we learned just now) as “the real deal“: “He has a huge heart and a selfless soul, not to mention a decent voice.”
Is a decent voice a subtle dig or are we just reading too far into this?
The daring duo have been mates for a little while now, spotted working together on the President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS Relief in 2003, haging out at the G8 Summit in 2007, and engaging in a stack of other charitable actions together.
Now to imagine this sweet sweet serenade from Bono to George Dubya.
