It Looks Like ASOS Is Still Sending People Those Terrifyingly Long Jeans

The long jeans are back with a vengeance. They are deeply unhappy we all mocked them, and they are back to smother us in their lengthy, violent denim snare.
Remember when ASOS kept sending people insanely long jeans earlier this year? Well, apparently it’s still happening.

Micah Berteau purchased 32/32 jeans from the UK retail company. But unfortunately, when he opened the package, he found these:

Clearly Micah spent the entirety of the month of May without internet access, because damn did that story go viral.
ASOS Australia even gave PEDESTRIAN.TV an explanation:

“The ASOS Super Skinny Stacker is a new menswear style which is cut longer than standard length to give a gathered effect at the ankles.

We have enjoyed the pics posted by our customers – here is how to wear them:”
The bloke who posted the original, nearly identical ‘long ASOS jeans’ tweet reckons it’s just a straight copy for favs (which unfortunately worked):

Same here:

Déjà vu, but nonetheless, it means ASOS is sticking by its ‘new menswear trend’ that continues to delight horrify and surprise every customer who buys them.  A weird decision imo, but hey – we’re not in the denim business.
We, for one, would like to welcome our new denim overlords. May their reign be as long and sturdy as them.
