The Islamic State has praised the Parramatta shooter in the latest issue of their online magazine (!!!!!) Dabiq.
In it, they call 15-year-old Farhad Jabar Khalil Mohammad a “brave knight“, who “struck the Crusaders of Australia.”
Here’s the exact quote:
“Amongst these brave knights of tawhid (the oneness of [God]) and jihad was fifteen-year-old Farhad Jabar Khalil Mohammad, who on “2 October 2015″ struck the crusaders of Australia and killed one of their personnel.”
That was NSW Police worker Curtis Cheng, 58, a 17-year-veteran of the police force’s finance department.
The paragraph, which appears in the foreword of Issue 12 of drivel-pushing Dabiq, goes on to praise 18-year-old Faisal Mohammed, who on November 18 this year stabbed four people at the University of California, fortunately none fatally.
Here’s the foreword, courtesy of Twitter.

In it, IS also claims to reveal how it brought down the Russian jet over Egypt‘s Sinai Peninsula, which killed all 224 people on board.
It contains a photo of a Schweppes Gold soft drink can, and what Reuters is reporting is a detonator and switch.
“The divided Crusaders of the East and West thought themselves safe in their jets as they cowardly bombarded the Muslims of the Caliphate (a form of Islamic government),” the Dabiq says. “And so revenge was exacted upon those who felt safe in their cockpits.”
Both Western and Russian governments have previously concluded that it is likely the plane was brought down by a bomb, but Egyptian authorities say they’re yet to find evidence of criminal action.
