Introducing Pedestrian Open Studio, Your Chance to Collaborate With Art vs Science

Ever wanted to make a track with your favourite artists and crack the Australian music charts? Like any self-respecting dreamer who’s ever screeched “November Rain” into a deodorant can, we definitely have. Unfortunately, across the board the occupants of our office aren’t exactly the Beatles, so to make our dreams come true we’re teaming up with one of Australia’s most popular acts and setting up our own recording studio in the heart of Sydney – and that’s where you come in. That’s right dudes: we’re crowd-sourcing you.

Open Studio presented by Ben Sherman gives you the chance to stop, collaborate and lay down a beat with festival favourites, Art vs Science.

From February 17 – 21, 2014 we’ll be transforming the Ben Sherman Sydney Arcade retail space into a noise proof bubble, mixing and recording the track live for the world to witness. We’ll then be releasing it the following week across TV, radio, Rdio and the World Wide Web.

Head HERE and tell us, in your most convincing 25 words or less, what sound you’d like to contribute to the track – whether it be basic finger snaps or a face-melting axe solo, and together with Art vs Science we’ll hand pick 60 contributors who have the tastiest jams and the winning attitudes it takes to join our band.

Entries are open right this very minute and close on February 3rd, 2014.

So whether you’ve got violin skills to put Andre Rieu to shame or just play a mean kazoo, everyone is welcome to REGISTER NOW.

For those about to rock, we salute you.
