Internet Celebrates Queen’s 63-Year Reign By Hijacking Twitter Hashtag #QueenFacts

Queen Elizabeth II is now official the longest-reigning monarch in British history.

In celebration of her 23,226th day as monarch, media outlets and royal watchers alike (yes, they’re a thing) have been taking to twitter to post Lizzie-related #QueenFacts, such as: she’s outlasted 12 U.S. presidents, seven different popes, and 40 Italian prime ministerial terms. I MEAN, the woman has stamina.

Except because ~Internet~, the hashtag was in operation for mere hours before it was hijacked in the name of comic relief.
People really went to town:

And then came a breakaway faction sharing Freddie Mercury facts, because THE QUEEN IS LAME BUT QUEEN IS COOL. Or something.

Unlike some people who have no respect, Google has celebrated Elizabeth’s reign with the adorable-yet-totes-appropriate PegMa’am:

Congrats, Ma’am, and keep slaying reining.
