It being International Women’s Day – a very important day acknowledging and celebrating the immense amount of hard work women of all colour, creed, and sexuality put in, more often than not in the face of great adversity, while going significantly underpaid and under-recognised – we can’t help but clench our buttholes just a little bit tighter due to the ever-bothersome presence of the handful of “but when is INTERNATIONAL MEN’S DAY for ME whom is a MEN” commenters out there.
In fact, looking at Google Trends reveals that International Women’s Day also happens to coincide with a small but noticeable spike in searches for “International Men’s Day”. It’s actually a more prevalent search term on IWD than it is on the Men’s Day itself.
So here it is. Just so those among you keen to have a whinge about it know, this is when International Men’s Day is:
November 19th.
International Men’s Day exists, and it’s on November 19th.
It’s also the same day as World Toilet Day.
