The New ‘Incredibles 2’ Cast Has Been Revealed Ft. A ‘Breaking Bad’ Reunion

Disney has dropped a little more information on the cast of Incredibles 2, offering a revamped line-up of heroes and villains – and an unexpected Breaking Bad reunion.

No, Bryan Cranston isn’t a super-villain, but we can dream.

The bulk of the first film’s original cast returns: Craig T. Nelson and his booming voice are back to handle Mr. Incredible, but Helen Parr’s Elastigirl will reportedly be the one leading most of the movie’s heroic endeavours. Sarah Vowell and Huck Milner have signed up to reprise the roles of kids Violet and Dash, respectively.

That’s all well and good, but the supporting roles are a lil’ more interesting. Yes, Samuel L. Jackson is back as Frozone, but Sophia Bush will portray new superpowered human Voyd. Plus, Better Call Saul fixer Jonathan Banks has also agreed to play government agent Rick Dicker.

Bob Odenkirk, bless him, is part of the project as telecom maverick Winston Deavor. He’ll be joined by Catherine Keener’s Evelyn Deavor, an absolute tech genius. The Hollywood Reporter speculates that pairing may be villainous, but we’re skeptical. Telecom and tech overlords being unethical in 2018? Surely not.

Speaking of, Disney also paired each cast member with a mock-up of those Google Art & Culture portrait matches. We’re sure that won’t date quickly, either.

Incredibles 2 is slated for release June 14.
