You’ve probably seen the #MeToo hashtags flying around this week (and if you haven’t… do you even go online?). While the movement is absolutely open to some criticism – if you don’t believe that basically every single woman has experienced sexual harassment already, then why should you expect women to open up their wounds for you – but at the very least, it has encouraged women in positions of power to come forward with their own experiences.
One among those women is Ilana Glazer, a true queen and co-creator / co-star of Broad City (along with her other half, Abbi Jacobson).
As well as detailing just *some* of her experiences of sexual harassment, she also revealed she’d fired men in the past for being total cretins.
“I’ve fired a couple dudes – one background actor and one sound guy,” she wrote on Instagram. “I was asked, ‘Are you sure?’ Hmm, okay yeah lemme think a sec – YEAH I’M FUCKING SURE.”
“Getting harassed seems to be a constant, but having the opportunity to do something about it is rare,” she finished with.

Honestly, what did we ever do to deserve Ilana Glazer? Nothing. Absolutely nothing. But people didn’t do anything to deserve Jesus Christ, either, and he’s been worshipped for 2,000 years.
