Idiot Who Kicked A Security Guard In The Head At Good Life Pleads Guilty

18-year-old Perth man Martin Fulton has plead guilty to assault, after kicking a Good Life Festival security guard in the head in February.

The incident shot to prominence after a brutal video of the incident went viral. It showed Fulton attacking guard Michael Rigby as he tried to detain another man at the Under 18s festival, who is believed to have entered the fest by jumping a fence.
Rigby was taken to hospital after the incident, but was discharged a short time after. In May, one of Rugby’s supporters told the media “physically he’s fine, he’s been back at work, he’s been alright, it will take more than that to stop him.”
At an earlier court appearance, a friend of Rigby and fellow security guard Michael Riley said “all we are trying to do is keep a roof over our heads, put food on the table, clothes on the kids’ backs and live a normal life.”

“We get kicked, punched, spat on … but in the 27 years I have been doing this job I have never seen such a cowardly act.”
Fulton also admitted to a charge of trespassing at the event. He was released on bail, and is set to face sentencing in another court appearance next month.
