Ideas That Need To Become Reality: Snapchat Snaphelp & Uber First Aid

Some straight up legends have developed two ideas that we definitely, definitely need to make happen: Uber first aid and Snapchat Snaphelp.

The ideas were among the five winners of the Future Lions student ad contest, where the ~bright minds of tomorrow~ are challenged to come up with a game changing ‘Big Idea’, to use ad industry speak.

This year, the students were challenged to connect an audience to a product or service that wasn’t possible three years ago. Time flies in the technology world.

Uber First Aid – spelt UberFIRST-AID – takes the issue of ambulances taking too long to arrive, and solves it by supplying Uber drivers with first aid and training. Can’t get an ambo, can get a lift.

In a totally different but equally worthy idea, Snapchat Snaphelp would provide a safe and secret platform for bullied children to speak with doctors, councillors, and psychiatrists, with the idea to help children overcome the fear of reaching out for help.

Friggin’ genius.

The five winners were judged by AKQA’s Future Lions Council and guest judges from Google, so it’s a safe bet that these students have a foot in the door, job-wise.
