Brisbane skate style, art and party fixture, The Outpost, is bringing back its notoriously enjoyable cult fiesta “I Used To Skate Once” for its ninth consecutive run in June.
Like every year, the 2013 event will feature an exhibition of artworks rendered on skate decks, mixed with live rock ‘n’ roll and high quality mingling; but this year the event will comprise work from only those artists with two “X” chromosomes. The all-girl agenda will feature special guests Chrissie Abbott, freakishly talented London-based art director, illustrator and graphic designer, and killer Melbourne garage outfit Terrible Truths off Brisbane imprint, Bedroom Suck.
