ISOLATION MANIFESTATION: Salvage Your End-Of-Day Cuppa By Learning To Read The Tea Leaves

ISOLATION MANIFESTATION: Everyone’s on a mission to up-skill in iso and I love this for us, but for some people, cooking, gardening and making clay pots just isn’t a vibe.

When times are tough, I’ve always found that witchy games always bring good energy as they offer reassurance, or at the very least, a form of escapism.

Each week, I’m gonna help you manifest those posi vibes by writing about a different mystical skill so you can live your best Stevie Nicks life in iso.

How To Read Tea Leaves

Tasseomancy, otherwise known as reading tea leaves, is an ancient form of divination that takes the phrase ‘spilling the tea’ to the next level as it’s believed to foretell future events.

It’s done by interpreting the shapes of the tea leaves left at the bottom of the mug after you’ve had a cuppa.

Here’s how to do it:

1. Brew some tea in a cup with no patterns (ideally China tea brewed in a pot without a strainer – but work with what you’ve got). Don’t add any sugar or you’ll be unlucky in love, apparently.

2. The subject should stir the tea well – if any bubbles appear, it means you’re going to be lucky. Scoop them out with a spoon and make a wish. If leaves float to the top, you will receive a message within three days.

3. Sip the tea slowly, while thinking of questions you need answered. Leave a decent amount of leaves in the bottom of the cup when you’re done.

4. Holding the cup in your left hand, move it in a circle thrice, then interpret the shapes in the leaves.
