Horny 100 Y/O Tortoise Single-Dickedly Roots His Species Out Of Extinction

Thanks to the extensive sexual adventures of one giant Galapagos Tortoise, his entire species has been saved from the brink of extinction.

Diego, who is now 100 years old, has had a prodigious output. Over his life he’s fathered at least 800 children, and we shudder to think what his child support bills look like.
Many species of tortoise have refused to mate in captivity, and gone extinct as a result. Luckily, Diego isn’t so inhibited. ‘He’s a very sexually active male reproducer. He’s contributed enormously to repopulating the island,’ said a “tortoise preservation specialist” at Galapagos National Park, who has, for sure, seen Diego going at it a LOT.
For his legendary libido, as well as his services to his community, we reckon he’s easily the coolest tortoise since this guy:

The point we’d like to make here, really, is that you shouldn’t let people shame you about your sexuality. We’re sure Diego was frequently tut-tutted for his polygamous lifestyle by his tortoise peers, and perhaps even the tortoise church. But if he hadn’t been quite so frisky, his species would have been wiped out. Thank you for your courage, Diego.
