Sydney institution Oxford Art Factory has been put up for sale on real estate website, Real Commercial.
But really – don’t freak out. It doesn’t mean it’s definitely closing, or anything.
It looks like it’s just changing owners, with the listing stating that it is ‘leased to The Oxford Art Factory, Sydney’s most successful and iconic live music venue since opening in 2007′. However, it does also say, ‘New 10 year lease from October 2015 plus options till 2035′.
Regardless, this is a definite sign of big changes to come in post-lockout law Australia.
