Here’s What You Need To Know About Sydney’s Space-Themed Cat Cafe

Earlier this year came news that was catnip (DYSWWDT?) to lovers of all things cute and feline, with the announcement that a space-themed cat cafe named Catmosphere would be opening in the Sydney CBD in July.

Catmosphere’s owners, however, still need to raise some money to make their dream a reality – $35,000, in fact. In order to make this happen, they are offering some sweet rewards to those willing to lend a hand on their Indiegogo page.
Cat lovers of Sydney (or wherever) can donate anything from $20, which gets you a session of coffee and cookies with the adorable kitties, through to $1000, which gives you naming rights to one of the cats.
We’re so excited to pick out names, we’re squirming more than this guy:
While Catmosphere is sure to be adorable, with cats clambering all over you / the furniture / each-other, it will also be ethical, thanks to a newly-announced partnership with Inner City Strays.
Inner City Strays, a charity who specialise in finding new homes for rescue cats all around Sydney, will be providing the felines. This means that you get to enjoy a day with furry friends, and they get a second second chance at whichever of their nine lives they’re on
Everybody wins!
Unless you have allergies, in which case, soz.
The first Catmosphere opened last year in Thailand, and there are plans to expand them to other locations around the world. For more information, you can check out their website here.
