Actress Miriam Margolyes, otherwise known as Harry Potter‘s Professor Sprout, appeared on the ABC’s Q&A overnight, and being Q&A and all, the topic of Tony Abbott inevitably came up.
When an audience member asked what she thought of our Prime Minister, her five-word response got straight to the point: “I think he’s a tit.” Cue the sound of Twitter melting down.
Margolyes, who was British-born but became an Australian citizen in 2013, also spoke on topics like the rise of anti-Semitism, saying “people don’t like Jews – it’s not comfortable to say that and it’s not comfortable to hear it, but I believe it to be true.”
