Here’s Donald Trump Claiming The UN Was Laughing *With* Him, You Idiots

US President Donald Trump has made yet another incredibly audacious claim which defies very recent and well-publicised audio and visual evidence, saying that the United Nations General Assembly did not laugh in his face during his most recent address.

Speaking during an uncommon solo press conference, Trump told reporters that they – and the entire world – misconstrued the giggles which burst forth when he told the General Assembly that basically no administration had achieved as much in two years as his has done.

“They weren’t laughing at me. They were laughing with me,” Trump said.

“We had fun. That was not laughing at me. So, the fake news said ‘the people laughed at President Trump.’ They didn’t laugh at me. People had a good time with me.

“We were doing it together.”

Just in case you need a recap on the moment he was discussing, here it is again:

Trump’s statement somewhat echoes one made yesterday by America’s UN ambassador Nikki Haley, who either bravely or naively offered to Fox And Friends that diplomats simply “loved how honest he is.”

“I saw that the media was trying to make it something disrespectful,” Haley added. “That’s not what it was. [Diplomats] love to be with him.”

Sadly, Trump’s latest comments on the UN debacle are not even the most confronting part of the press conference, as he went on to openly discredit the women who have accused Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh of sexual assault.

Good-o.
