Harrison Ford Is Coming To Australia For A Special “Star Wars” Fan Event

HOLY TAPDANCING CRAP, YOU GUYS.

As it turns out, the end of the Kessel Run isn’t an area south of the Si’Klaata Cluster after all. It’s at the goddamned Sydney Opera House.
With the imminent release of Star Wars: The Force Awakens, the Opera House has unveiled a very special – AND VERY FREE OF CHARGE – Star Wars fan event to take place on December 10th at the Opera House Forecourt.
The all ages event promises to feature a bunch of cool things like music, trivia, “immersive Star Wars experiences,” and the signature droid from the new film, BB-8.
Oh, and a casual in-person appearance from HARRISON FREAKING FORD as well.
There isn’t any information as to what Ford will be doing at the event beyond simply being there and being completely bloody awesome. But if you’ve a person with even a passing interest in Star Wars (also known as a person with a heartbeat), you’d better get onto this quick.
Patrons are also being encouraged to download the Star Wars app in order to get involved with something called a “Google Cardboard Virtual Reality Experience.”
Which sounds pretty badass and all, but did we mention that HAN SOLO is going to be there?
What are you waiting for? Tickets are free. They’re available now. And they’re on a first in/best dressed basis.
DROP EVERYTHING. GO GO GO.
