HAPPY FRIDAY! Here’s Photos Of A Lion, Tiger & Bear Being Best M8s

LIONS AND TIGERS AND BEARS, OH MY.

Once upon a fairytale, that sentence was just a line from a song in ‘The Wizard of Oz’. But, seemingly, dreams can come true.
A lion, a tiger and a bear have completed the playlist of ‘Best Unlikely Animal Pairings’ Youtube videos, after becoming best mates in an animal sanctuary in Georgia

Have you heard the story of how The BLT (bear, lion, & tiger) came to be? Baloo the American black bear, Leo the African lion, and Shere Khan the Bengal tiger; known as “The BLT” came to Noah’s Ark in 2001 after they were discovered by police officers in a basement of an Atlanta home during a drug raid. At only a few months old, all three cubs were frightened, malnourished, and infected with internal and external parasites when the Georgia Department of Natural Resources brought them to Noah’s Ark.Baloo, Leo and Shere Khan eat, sleep, and play together and even seek out grooming and affection from one another, head rubbing and licking each another. Their terrifying early months in life bonded the three together and they are truly inseparable despite their obvious differences. How far can we spread their story? Please share. 🙂 <3www.noahs-ark.org

Baloo the American black bear, Leo the African lion and Shere Khan the Bengal tiger have been in the Noah’s Ark Animal Sanctuary since 2001, after being discovered as cubs by police officers in an Atlanta basement during a drug raid. They were heavily abused, and gained serious injuries before their time in the sanctuary:

“At only a few months old, all three cubs were frightened, malnourished, and infected with internal and external parasites when the Georgia Department of Natural Resources called us and then brought them to Noah’s Ark,” says sanctuary curator Allison Hedgecoth.
And apparently they get separation anxiety for each other, and have to nap near one another.
“Usually, when one naps, they all nap in nearby locations (if not right next to each other), or if one walks down to the creek, the others will follow.

They just seem to have a need to be near one another.”
Excuse us while we go hyperventilate in a corner, we’re just suffering from an acute case of ‘OH GOD IT’S TOO CUTE OH GOD’
