23 Y.O. Hannah Quinn Released On Bail After Alleged Forest Lodge Murder

Hannah Quinn, the 23-year-old woman charged with the murder of Sydney rapper Jett McKee, has been granted bail.

The accused is set to be released from Silverwater Correctional Complex today after her appearance via videolink at Newtown Local Court.

Quinn is accused of giving chase to McKee, aka Scepaz, after he allegedly attempted a violent home invasion of her Forest Lodge residence on Friday.

It is alleged she tackled McKee in the street before her partner, 28-year-old Blake Davis, allegedly struck him in the head with a samurai sword.

McKee died of his injuries at the scene. Quinn and Davis allegedly went into hiding before turning themselves into police on Monday night.

In court today, Quinn’s barrister Tom Hughes said she was “traumatised, terrified and in a state of shock” because of the alleged home invasion.

Hughes pointed to her clear criminal record as evidence she should not be behind bars.

Magistrate Margaret Quinn granted the accused bail, saying she did not pose a severe risk to the broader community.

Both Quinn and Davis are expected to face court in October.
