Grant Hackett Nipple Cripple Victim Says It’s Sexual Assault, Wants Charges

Grant Hackett did not have a good night. More details are emerging after last night’s incident on the Virgin Airways fight, where he allegedly reached over and ‘forcefully’ tweaked the nipple of a passenger who had reclined his seat too far for Hackett’s liking, and the accuser wants to press charges.
Don’t nipple cripple people probably. Just an average bloke’s take. We know reclining seats are annoying. But this kind of nipple-related vigilante justice is probably a step too far.
No charges have yet been laid, despite earlier claims from 2GB‘s Ray Hadley that Hackett had been arrested – he had actually only been pulled in for questioning.
“There was no altercation — I was sexually assaulted by that man,” said the passenger to the Herald Sun, who says that he was ‘groped’ by Hackett. He has vowed to pursue charges, and both he and his partner have given statements to the Australian Federal Police. A third person is alleged to have also made a statement.
Collingwood chief executive Gary Pert helped Hackett off the plane, and statements he gave to the Herald Sun seem to imply that he thinks the incident is somewhat overblown. He believes he merely “tapped” the man in front of him, with no altercation or argument, then fell asleep.
We’ll see how this goes.
