Got An Idea For A Game Changing App? Here’s How To Make It A Reality

Got an idea for an app that will change the world but don’t know where to get started?

Y’know the billion dollar concept that frees you from the clutches of Mi Goreng noodles and puts a smile on humanity’s dial.

If that sounds like you but you don’t know the first bloody thing about developing apps, please take several seats.

As part of The Samsung Adappt program created in partnership with the not-for-profit Foundation for Young Australians (FYA) Samsung are offering young Australians aged 12 to 25 a chance to be mentored, flown to Melbourne and given resources and training to build their own app. They’re looking for app ideas that offer a social good or tackle real issues that people face in the world.

Past alumni of the Samsung Adappt program have had their apps developed and published. Last year an Adappt finalist created an app that connects young people with mentors called Mentor Track (the beta version is now available in the Play Store). On top of that you get stocked up with Samsung products and other sweet, sweet prizes.

To avoid a case of the Winklevoss’ and in the interest of fairness, the app stays the property of the person that created it. Best part is you don’t need Zuckerberg level skills to get involved, in fact you don’t need any coding skills whatsoever.
You bring the idea and Samsung & FYA provide everything else to make your dream a reality.

Head HERE to enter – submissions close October 31st.
