Get ‘Making A Murderer’s Brendan Dassey To WrestleMania With This Petition

He might get to go to WrestleMania after all!

Following on from this past weekend’s story where it was announced that ‘Making a Murderer‘ subject Brendan Dassey would have his conviction overturned, paving the way for him to potentially walk free from prison within 90 days, the internet has sprung onto correcting another gross injustice from the series: that Dassey never got to go the WWE‘s show of shows.
Fans of the show will remember Dassey’s curious dismay about being prevented from attending WrestleMania 22 by the highly contentious trial, and his subsequent 10-year stint in prison has meant that he’s missed every one since.
But now that he’s staring down the barrel at freedom, some jokesters want to see Dassey in Orlando next year.
A petition on Change.org is imploring the WWE, along with head honcho Vince McMahon, to send the wrongly convicted Dassey to the grandaddy of them all, WrestleMania 33 in Orlando, Florida next April. So sayeth the petition:

“Dassey, now 27, was originally convicted of helping his uncle, Steven Avery, in the murder of Teresa Halbach but a federal judge has ruled that his constitutional rights were violated when he was grilled, without a parent or his lawyer present, at the age of 16. We ask that the WWE and Vince McMahon help make his dream come true and send Brendan Dassey to Wrestlemania.”

Former WWE superstar Sean “X-Pac” Waltman has already reportedly promised to buy the kid his tickets to the event should he be released from prison a free man.

He already missed John Cena take on Triple H, and that insane hardcore match between Edge and Mick Foley. He shouldn’t have to miss Shaquille O’Neal vs The Big Show too.
You know it makes sense, friends. Sign the dang petition.
