FOOKIN’ FINALLY.
We received the news that we were getting a follow up to iconic 90s cult film ‘Trainspotting’ mid last year, and we’ve been sweatin’ like we’re coming down from some bad skag ever since.
While we’ve been hit with teaser trailers for the new movie already, they’ve just been footage from the OG movie. But now, we’ve finally got a glimpse of the new film, with the first trailer with newly-shot footage.
The film stars the original cast (I mean, shite, could you imagine someone else playing Renton? Sick Boy?), and Robert Carlyle, who plays anti-junk-but-incredibly-violent pub brawler Begbie, said in November it was “one of the best scripts [he’s] fucking read”.
The new film will apparently “loosely” follow the plot of Irvine Welsh‘s follow-up book to ‘Trainspotting’, titled ‘Porno’.
