Gable Tostee Found Not Guilty For 2014 Balcony Death Of Warriena Wright

Gable Tostee has been found not guilty for murder and not guilty of manslaughter for the 2014 balcony death of New Zealand woman Warriena Wright.

The verdict was delayed thanks to a legal matter.

The jury deliberated for four days before reaching the verdict. Several times they asked Justice John Byrne for clarifications, including whether language should be considered force.

“The short answer is no,”
Justice Byrne replied, telling the jury it should only be concerned about the “physical force” used by Tostee, and whether or not it was more than reasonably necessary.

They admitted to problems in reaching a verdict.

Ms Wright’s family and friends travelled to Brisbane to hear the verdict.
