France Retaliates, Bombs ISIS Stronghold In Biggest Syrian Raid To Date

As the death toll from Friday’s horrific Paris attacks continues to rise (the confirmed figure stands at 129 ATM), France has launched its biggest bombing raid in Syria to date.

Retaliation came in the form of 20 bombs, dropped by French fighter jets on the ISIS stronghold of Raqqa, in the country’s north – attacks carried out simultaneously from the UAE and Jordan, with the help of US forces.
The planes hit a jihadi recruitment centre, training camp and arms depot run by the group, according to the French Defence Ministry.

It’s also being reported by Fox News that the Chief of ISIS in Libya was killed in the series of airstrikes.

No civilian deaths have been reported as yet, but we feel for the innocent Syrians caught up in this mess.
