Cultural Kingpins Are Heading To Sydney For A World-First Summit On Cool

Hey Sydney, you better prep yourself for a meeting of the planet’s most forward-thinking cultural innovators.

The brains behind operations like taste-making collective No Vacancy Inn, YouTube Music, NASA‘s Jet Propulsion Laboratory, and Adidas’ meticulous Spezial line will descend on the city in July for the inaugural FOREFRONT summit.

Omnipresent creative powerhouse Margaret Zhang, who is co-curating the massive event as part of new consultancy Background, bills FOREFRONT as a never-before-seen coming together of leaders in the world of fashion, tech, sustainability, music, and education.

Acyde, whose No Vacancy Inn has chucked collaborative parties and fashion lines with the likes of A$AP Rocky and Off-White, will be on deck, along with Aussie Jake O’Leary – the young gun crushing it as YouTube’s global chief of artist marketing.

Elizabeth Jens, the astronautical genius whose career has thrust her from Torquay to NASA, is slated to share her knowledge alongside Gary Aspden, whose work with Adidas has revitalised entire waves of British streetstyle.

Jack Bancroft of Australian Indigenous Mentoring Experience and Vogue Australia’s sustainability expert Clare Press will also deliver the goods, among a stack of other expert speakers.

Plus: a mad after-party.

That combo of cultural awareness and expert insight is going down on Thursday July 19, and if you want a piece of that hard-earned knowledge you can scope out the ticketing deets HERE.
