Forbes Ranks The 25 Most ***Powerful Women In The World, Beyonce Is Obviously Included

When it comes to ranking people in list form based on how powerful they are, look no further than Forbes and our reporting on their list of ‘The 25 Most Powerful Women In The World.’

They have once again published a “definitive annual guide to the extraordinary icons and leaders, groundbreakers and ceiling crashers who command the world stage” for your perusing and assessing pleasure. Topping the list for (by our count) the fourth year in a row is German Chancellor Angela Merkel who is, whatever you think of her iron rule, undoubtedly all kinds of impressive. The noted “Iron Frau” is followed by Janet Yellen (Chair of the United States Federal Reserve), Melinda Gates and Dilma Rousseff (president of Brazil).

Other inclusions of which you will definitely recognise and know at least a little about include Hilary Clinton (#6), Michelle Obama (#8), Geun-hye Park (#11), OPRAH©™ (#14) and a gal we may or may have written a story or two about, young Beyoncé Knowles (#17):

“The 32-year-old superstar capped off a banner year that included singing for the president, performing at the Super Bowl, and headlining the most profitable tour of the year by shocking the world with a surprise “visual album” in December.”

She sure did.

Unfortunately this year there were zero Australian candidates who made the list; previous entries have included Julia Gillard, Gina Rinehart, and Westpac CEO Gail Kelly. To rectify this, why not nominate a friend or #treatyoself to a nomination for PEDESTRIAN.TV’s Bachelorette Of The Year presented by MINI Australia. Enter HERE for a 1 in 50 chance of winning a return AirAsia X flights for you and a mate, a MINI of your own to have and hold for six months and your name on a list not unlike the one above in terms of esteem and importance.
