First Asian Elephant In 7 Years Born At Taronga Zoo & Omg Hello Tiny Tooter

~ VERY IMPORTANT BABY ANIMAL ALERT ~
The Asian elephant breeding program at Taronga Zoo has just produced their first calf in 7 years and ohhhhhh my god…
LOOK AT HIS LITTLE TOOTING SNOOTER!
The sweet long-nosed babby was born at 1:35am on Friday, with mum Pak Boon breezing through an easy 35-minute labour (nice one).
According to zookeepers, the fuzzy flap-eared angel weighs 130kg (YIKES) and was up on his feet just five minutes after emerging into the world, which is frankly unfair and embarrassing for anyone who struggles to get out of bed five minutes after waking up.
Please enjoy these adorable photos of a baby elephant who is less than 48 hours old, who has just the cutest little honking schnozz-tube, and who almost definitely already has its life more together than most of our generation.
