acidstag.com (SYD) needs a budding journalist to attend and review Splendour in the Grass 2012 sideshows. You will need to have: an annoyingly powerful understanding of and compliance with grammar and spelling, a strong liver and a passion for live music. Now, you will also need: to not get overly f*cked-up during the gig and be available for the following Splendour in the Grass 2012 sideshow dates – FATHER JOHN MISTY on Friday 27th of July, YOUTH LAGOON on Saturday 28th of July and ELECTRIC GUEST on Tuesday 31st of July. The successful applicant will have their name on the door for each of the above shows, with a +1, so you don’t get lonely. If you are keen, which I am assuming you are, all you need to do is send through a short (but brain blowing) review of a recent gig you attended. Apply HERE

Comedy Writers wanted for a Sitcom Development Project (BRIS). Are you a fan of Larry David? Family Guy? Friends? 30 Rock? The Office? Are you as funny, or as funny, as the writers of those shows? Yes? Big call dude. Some fine folks are looking to put together a team of comedians/writers to be apart of a development project for Australia’s first Internationally successful (if all goes according to plan) Sitcom Program. The peeps putting this together believe Australian Humour is the perfect balance of the obnoxious/obvious style of American humour and sarcastic/dry style of English humour and would like to harness this and create/write/produce an Australian sitcom. So there you go. They will meet every Tuesday evening at 6pm to create the show outline and then move on to the screen writing and filming of the pilot.
