The state of Victoria has entered lockdown on Friday after several COVID-19 cases and heaps more exposure sites were recorded in Melbourne throughout the week. It’s the fifth such slog for Melburnians, and people are understandably sick of it.
Nevertheless, it’s still important to make sure you haven’t been to any of the 100+ new exposure sites listed by the Victorian government.
Different parts of the MCG during the Carlton v Geelong game last Saturday are variously listed as Tier 1, Tier 2 and Tier 3 sites, while a bunch of major shopping centres including Chadstone, DFO Uni Hill and Highpoint all made the list, too.
As for the rest of us, it’s up to us to get vaccinated if and when possible. Under 40s can now speak to their doctor about getting the AstraZeneca jab, or you can triple-check to see if you’re eligible for the Pfizer jab here.
