Former The Bachelor contestant Georgia Tripos has been charged with allegedly running a drug syndicate with her mate in Melbourne, with police claiming the pair were involved in the trafficking of significant quantities of methamphetamine and cocaine via Craigslist.
25-year-old Tripos, perhaps best known for absolutely unloading on her fellow contestants after being sent packing by Richie Strahan, was arrested yesterday after her alleged accomplice was nabbed at the Mount Waverley real estate agency where they both work.
(ICYMI, after she was evicted from the reality TV show last year, she asserted the three women Strahan had chosen ahead of her “looked like fucking skanks.” Tripos later claimed producers had fibbed to her about the cameras being turned off when she made that statement.)
A Victoria Police spokesperson told The Daily Mail that they uncovered sizeable quantities of illicit drugs after searches “at a business premises” and on a vehicle.
Tripos was granted bail, and both of the accused are scheduled to face Melbourne Magistrate’s Court on July 7.
