More than one million people marched against President Donald Trump across the globe today, fighting for equality, women’s rights, LGBT rights, immigrant rights, healthcare, climate change, and other issues believed to be under threat.
An estimated 500,000 people marched in Washington D.C. – double the number expected by organisers – and sister marches took places across the country and on all seven continents around the world
The numbers are still coming in, but it’s expected the total number of protesters will far exceed one million.
